In response to the budget reductions, five subgroups explored ways to generate savings and revenue within the following strategic themes:
- User Focused Services (chaired by Carol Hughes)
- Research Resources (chaired by Lorelei Tanji)
- Library as a Place (chaired by Deb Sunday)
- Information Technology (chaired by Vicki Grahame)
- Organizational Resources (chaired by Deb Sunday)
These groups were asked to think about how our strategic priorities should change given the new budget environment and how we can preserve core aspects of our priorities during these difficult times. The five subgroups have concluded their research and along with the Libraries Steering Committee have submitted the below final reports:
